Hello everyone! Unfortunately, this is my last post! I know! So sad! I am being responsible and doing this over my Spring Break, and at the same time trying to solve a 2X2X2 Rubik's Cube. So far, I have completed the white side, orange side, and red side! Whoo Hoo! I'll post a picture of it when I am done. Anyway my fellow history lovers, my final question that I am trying to answer is What made Alexander the Great so great?
Ok, let's start this from the very beginning. Raised by the great King Philip and amazing and strong Queen Olympia, he was a natural born leader. Even when his father was murdered, he still was strong. He can conquered Persia, Asia Minor, Egypt, and India (but he ended up giving it back). And something else about him, he never lost a battle! Never! Not one! Nada! He won all of his battle. And one of his greatest weapons was not his weapons or his tactics, but the fear. If you refused to be taken over by him, you would surely die, but if you accepted, he would let you live and let you keep your beliefs.( Religion, art, lifestyle, etc.). And even after he died, many great leaders and heroes were inspired by him. For example, Napoleon, Patton, George Washington (shocking right!?) and Napoleon. Even his battle tactics are still studied today! But he wasn't just all nice guys and no mean, he had his moments. For example, when he got drunk, he killed some of his best friends, and even killed sometimes for fun. (Reminds me of some characters from books.). He was also very arrogant like all powerful leaders, and sometimes wasn't the nicest guy. Some people think that he was great, others think he was a terrible one. Which one was he? Well my friend, that decision is up to you. This question will always remain unanswered. Bye bye! Gem signing out!
